How we teach you to read direction
A four-stage process used across every program — so workshops, labs, and mentorship share one vocabulary.
Trend identification here means answering three questions with evidence: What is the active direction? Where would that idea be wrong? What timeframe owns the bias?
We avoid indicator stacks as the first language. Structure comes first; confirming tools are optional and secondary.
Choose a programStage 01
Map the swings
Mark successive highs and lows with agreed rules. Separate impulsive legs from pauses so the chart stops looking like noise.
Stage 02
State the bias
Translate structure into a plain directional statement and write the level that would invalidate it.
Stage 03
Align timeframes
Check whether the working chart agrees with the higher-timeframe context — or knowingly trades against it.
Stage 04
Confirm, then wait
Optional confirmation tools are introduced only after structure is clear. The habit we reinforce is patience at the decision point.
